Description:
Inv. 5258

Beretta (Geco) Model 1934, Dated 1943, Caliber 7.65 mm, Serial Number 4975XX, Inv 5258.

A very rare Geco Stamped and Commercial proofed Beretta, during the war is found on holsters, guns and German military equipment.  They sold these guns to German officers and Nazi party officials who purchased them for personal use.  (See Jan Stills book Axis Pistols for more information).  Not only are they extremely scarce but the condition of this veterans bring back is fantastic.  The Geco guns were manufactured to prewar commercial specs with a high polish finish.  This particular gun retains about 97-98% of the original factory blue.  The only loss is slight edge silvering and a slight rub mark on the barrel from the slide.  There are no pits, rust of flakes anywhere.  All numbers match including the barrel.  The feed ramp bolt face and magazine follower show almost no use.  The black Bakelite grips are as perfect as the rest of the gun.  The bore is super, scalpel sharp and sunshine bright with little or no trace of use.  The gun comes with one proper finger grip magazine.  This is a gun that is probably missing from that WWII collection.  Something to show off at the next gun show.      $1495.

A correct Italian Army holster as shown is available with the purchase of the gun for $195.
