Description:
Serial number #145848 is a .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 2nd change target revolver chambered for the 38 special cartridge and mfg from 1906-09. It sports a 6 1/2" barrel and is your standard double action with blued finish and small diamond checkered walnut grips sans any medallion. This gun has the factory star next to serial number and indicates it was re-done at the factory at some time. It retains most of that high polish blue finish with the fire blue screws. Hammer and trigger retain virtually all of the case colors and the walnut grips are excellent. Bore and action are like new. Sharp strong factory stamps. Has the rare target sights.
