Description:
Serial number 18667 was mfg in 1879 so is a very early example. It is a Sheriffs model with the 3 1/2" barrel , double action, factory nickel plated with real aged Ivory gips and chambered for the .38 long colt cartridge. The etched panel is outstanding and perfect. The gun retains virtually all of the original factory nickel everywhere including the cylinder. The Ivory grips are near mint, lots of color and no cracks. Fire blue still on back of hammer. Action is perfect. Bore is gem mint. Hidden screws still retain the fire blue. Really fine etched panel. Antique so can be shipped anywhere in the world.
