Description:
Serial number #139616 is a .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 2nd change target revolver chambered for the 38 special cartridge and mfg from 1906-09. It sports a 6 1/2" barrel and is your standard double action with blued finish and small diamond checkered walnut grips sans any medallion. It retains about 80% of the high polish factory blue finish with the fire blue screws. The grips straps have slivered out and there is about 20% loss of blue to cylinder and sides of barrel. Hammer and trigger retain virtually all of the case colors and the walnut grips are excellent. Bore and action are like new. Sharp strong factory stamps. Has the rare target sights. The action is smooth as silk.
