Description:
The famed Allin conversions which is called the model 1866 using earlier lockplates and parts. This lockplate is marked 1863 US Springfield. Rifle has been freshened up with the bbl in the white which is correct. Lockplate hammer has been polished. Wood has also been freshened. A very good eye appealing gun with a great bore! This is the real deal and would look beautiful in an office, den or above a fireplace.
