Description:
Frame and slide are mismatched by just a couple of hundred numbers. This was probably a very late ''slap it together and get it out'' type pistol- it has just the ac legend on slide beneath serial number. Compare the serial to the latest in Axis Pistols. I believe this to be one of the last 500 guns produced. Left side grip panel has shrinkage cracks, finish is actually pretty good. Safety is a little touchy and must be pulled hard rearward to drop hammer. Single and double action work fine. Walther marked magazine. This is an interesting late war piece!
