Here we have an upland hunter's treasure. A few years back you could cruise the internet or a good gun show and have a dozen choices of A Grade or better 20 ga. guns to choose from. For the last 3 years I have been searching for Fox small bores and they are gone! The shooting public caught on to the delightful handling characteristics of the A.H. Fox 20, bought them all up, and they aren't selling them. When you consider there were only 3400 graded 20ga. Fox guns ever made, IN ALL GRADES, you understand why they are so hard to find. Only 413 total production CE 20 gauge Fox guns, with likely less than 350 or so remaining on the face of the earth. This fine Fox, sn201526, made in 1920, was built as an "ultralight" little Fox, leaving the factory at 5 1/2lbs. and a 13 1/2" LOP. Now restocked with fantastic figured walnut and an LOP of 15 7/8" to a butt plate (we can shorten the stock to your specs by cutting it, or lengthen it with a pad to as long as 15 3/4"), it is still only 5lbs. 13oz. with the long wood. Still retaining 45% factory case color, clean, sharp engraving, perfect screws, factory IC/M chokes, rust blued barrels, action stripped, inspected, cleaned, and lubricated, this gorgeous gun is ready for another couple of generations of use before needing much attention. We have taken special care to be historically correct with the stock shape and checkering so the gun will retain its special place in the reverent Fox enthusiast's heart. Anybody that has had to do a quality restock on a gun knows it is over $3000 and takes over a year to get your gun back. This is all complete and included in the purchase price. There will always be a home for a fine little Fox CE 20ga. and this gun will hold its value and continue to be more valuable as time goes by.
