Bissell patent rising third-bite, patent no. 1141 of 1879 action patent use number 174, push-forward snap-action underlever, dipped-edge lockplates, the fences carved with stylized acanthus leaves, best bold foliate-scroll engraving, well figured stock with steel butt-plate, lever-latch forend, the blacked damascus barrels with game-rib engraved John Rigby & Co., St. James's Street, London & Dublin, Weight 7lb. 4oz., 14½in pull (14 3/8in stock), 30in. barrels, approx cyl. & ¼ choke, 2½in. chambers, London Black powder proof. The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1892
