Excel 20 gauge shotgun (very similar to an Iver Johnson Champion)
Manufactured by Iver Johnson between 1910 - 1935. Stamped and sold under the name Excel.
Single Shot
28" barrel - clean inside
Full choke
Blue finish - A few scratches, little if any pitting, no rust.
Walnut stock and forend - surface finish checks on one side of stock butt. (see photo) Butt not cracked.
Stock solidly mounted. (A very slight bit of "wiggle" on forend but feels securely mounted)
Complete and functional. (Last fired about 20 yrs. ago
SN stamped on metal matches SN written under butt plate when manufactured.
