Reblued about 50 yrs. ago. I don't see any pitting or rust.
"Special Smokeless Steel" stamped on the barrel. (see photo)
Stock and forend have no cracks and are securely attached. Some light scratches on stock, a 1/8" sliver missing on the bottom of the forend. Stock and forend have had a clear cloat appied many years ago. (probably when the gun was reblued)
SN on the tang matches the SN stamped inside on the stock so the stock must be original.
The slide action works smoothly, but it has not been test-fired. Gun appears to be complete and functional, but it hasn't been fired in 45 yrs. that I know of.
