French Tap Action Flintlock pocket .38 caliber pistol. Has silver inlay in wood, Nice engraving on box lock. In the white as was the norm of the time. Barrels are 3 1/2"" long. Approximately .38 caliber. We think this is French because there are no proof marks. Nice deluxe pocket from the 1800 period.
