Description:
Very Fine example of this early master's work. The gun must have been special ordered with the deluxe stock but it lacks the engraving that normally accompanies the deluxe model. Gun was originally pitted with a Lyman peep and then converted to B&L Balvar scope with Post and Crosshair reticle. Scope is sharp and clear. Section of wood replaced where the Lyman peep was mounted, well done. Great starting point for a budding collector of the early masters recorded in Michael Petrov's books on Custom Gunmakers of the 20th Century. Sedgley covered in volume 1. Smooth action, excellant bore.
