This one falls in the middle of the range, serial no. 5784X, so it is an antique. It has a 24 inch octagon barrel with a tubular magazine which holds 13 rounds. The wood is very nice with an oil finish.The metal has a very pleasing brown patina. The bore is very good with minor wear and light pitting, which is expected in an antique rifle which shot black powder shells. The rear sight is a nice long range buck horn.
