Description:
These were made from 1889 to 1899. This one falls in the middle of the range, serial no. 5784X, so it is an antique. It has a 24 inch octagon barrel with a tubular magazine which holds 13 rounds. The wood is very nice with an oil finish.The metal has a very pleasing brown patina. The bore is very good with minor wear and light pitting, which is expected in an antique rifle which shot black powder shells. The rear sight is a nice long range buck horn. The top of the receiver is marked "Marlin Safety". A good gun to shoot or collect. US only - no International sales. Must be 21 years of age to purchase. Buyer pays $30.00 shipping. Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED. Antique – no FFL required. If your state requires an FFL for antiques, you should call 251-510-5007 before buying.
