No return on used guns. Payment Types Accepted: mo or cashiers check Description: This rifle was built by William Billinghurst in NY about 1850. It has provisions for a false muzzle (not included). The barrel is marked on top with the Billinghurst name stamp and back where the bbl. attaches to the reciever is "Remington". I don't know the story here but this would have been the orginal Remington of Remington Arms. It is possible that in the early days of Billinghurst that he subcontracted the barrel making to Remington. I have not seen another Billinghursts with this marking on the bbl. Overall the rifle is antique VG. There are some cracks in the stock. Function is good. The photos should give you a good idea of the rifle's condition. Any questions please call: 479-253-5008 Be sure this is what you want as I will not take a return unless you can show that I grossly misrepresented this piece. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Antique: Yes |
