Description:
Remington Model 30 Express Custom .280 Remington. A very pretty rifle with deep dark bluing on the barrel, receiver, bolt handle and trigger guard/floorplate assembly. The receiver is dressed up with case colored bolt shroud, release lever and safety lever. Additionally the super grade style sling swivel mounts are cased colored, and so is the Redfield one piece scope base (there are no rings, unfortunately). The beautiful metal finishes are matched perfectly to the brown toned laminate wood stock, which is also dressed a bit with high grade figured wooden grip and forend caps. Makes for a very pretty rifle.

Metal Condition: Exellent condition. Appears to have been recently finished in a deep dark rust blue.
Wood Condition: Excellent, look's new.
Bore Condition: Excellent condition, lightly fired and has very sharp lands and grooves, they are clean as a whistle.
Barrels: 22" custom barrel of unknown make, bore has 6 lands and grooves.
Triggers: Serrated trigger with a fairly crisp let of, set at approximately 4 pounds.
Stock: Laminate with brown tones, instead of the more common orange. Hase forend and grip caps of high grade figured wood. A pretty rifle!

Butt Pad: Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
