Orvis Grulla Union Amera M-215 SLE "2 BBL SET" 12 Gauge: The shotgun was custom ordered and sold by Orvis, it was manufactured by Grulla at Eibar, Spain, marketed with the name Union Amera. A 2 barrel set, each measuring 28" and choked: Barrel II/A choked Mod. (***) & Full (*) and barrel II/B choked Cyl (CL) & I.C. (****). The barrels are marked in gold, one with II over A, the other is II over B. There is a gold 2 inletted into the release lever on the receiver. The shotgun originally was part of a two gun set, of which we acquired just this one. Included is the original Orvis hang tag marked as "SN 24546, 2 Barrel Set" and specifics for weight and measurements and priced at $5,700 and reduced to $4,900. Chambers: 2 3/4
Metal Condition: Both barrels are in near new condition with a very few, small scratches. II/B barrels, show in photos, has a 1/2" scratch 3" from breech on the right side. Can be seen in photos.
Wood Condition: Excellent with a very few, light scratches. The forearm has a 3/4" inch crack on the left side(see closeup photo, crack is dead center in the photo). If the photo is not in ad, email and I'll send it to you!
Bore Condition: Both are in excellent condition, very bright and shiny and both shot very little.
Barrels: Both barrels are 28".
Triggers: Double, articulated front.
Stock: French walnut, with nice contrasting light to dark streaks and straight grip with wrap-around checkering.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP: 16"; DAC: 1 1/2"; DAH: 2 1/8"; 1/8" Cast Off.
Fore End: Checkered beavertail with push button release.
Butt Pad: Checkered wood.
Weight: 7 Lbs.
Sights: Churchill rib, solid, narrow and matted with a silver front bead. Same for each barrel.
