One is pictured in Flayderman's Volume 9, page 423. Flaydermans number 7E-001. This pistol puts that theory to rest. It is marked J.O. Robson, Buffalo. That is James O. Robson circa 1850 in Buffalo, New York. It is approximately 44 caliber, 22 inches long with a 17 inch barrel. Other than the barrel length, it matches 7E-001 perfectly. The gun has a nice brown patina finish with oil finished flarre and grips. It is mechanically fine. If you collect underhammers you need this. US only - no International sales.
