Description:
Serial #304659, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 3 3/8” barrel with an about good bore that has mild freckling and pitting along the entire length. This is an all-matching, late production, “GERMANY” marked pistol that retains 60-70% of the original blue finish with the balance faded gray or plum-brown with even, mild freckling. There are some spots of cold blue present as well, mostly along the right side of the frame. The trigger, extractor, and barrel retention pin have none of the original fire blue remaining, and have turned plum-brown over time, matching the rest of the pistol. The checkered walnut grip is in good shape but has worn nearly smooth with the checkering only faintly visible on either side under a dark added oil finish. This is a good example of a Model 1914 Mauser and would make a nice representative example for a collection. FFL or C&R
