Here is a London made Charles Boswell Best Quality Boxlock Ejector in 12 gauge with extra finish. This gun was made in 1929 and features Rose, scroll and game scene engraving. Right side of action - four grouse in flight. Left side - four pheasants in field. Floor plate - dog with bird. Trigger guard - two dogs in field. Even the top lever has game scene - single grouse. Scalloped action. Notice the additional profiling of the action behind the fences. Screw slots are prestine. London proof marks. Auto ejectors. Auto safety. Tight on face. Barrels are 28" with .729 bores. Right barrel has 15/1000 choke (IC) while left barrel has 20/1000 (Mod). Chambers are 2 3/4". Minimum wall thickness is 33/1000. Weight of gun is 6 LBS 6 3/8 OZ. Original oak and leather case in good condition containing; snap caps and oil bottle (engraved Boswell London), cleaning rod and brushes and short chamber brush. All original and of the correct time period. Shipping is $50. Black horn buttplate with engraved screws. Well figured stock and good dimensions.
