This is one of the "Dollar Grade" guns that Parker produced between 1869 and 1875. This gun has a Quail game scene on both side plates of the receiver and a Dogs Head engraved on the bottom. The trigger guard has an engraved pointer and what appears to be a butterfly. This gun has Damascus Steel Barrels and if you look, you will see the engraved bolsters that were only engraved on the highest of the grades.
