This Colt was produced in 1960. This is a second generation model Colt. The serial number is 32658SA. This is a factory full nickel finish in the rare seven and a half inch barrel chambered for the 38 Special. In 1960 there was 17 of these Colt's produced in this format. The total production in this style and chambering is 108 Pistols. This makes this one of the rare second generation models. The black box and papers are intact with the original cleaning brush. The box is serial numbered to this pistol. the box has some damage due to poor storage. the two front top corners are separated and there is a repair on the lid. The labels are intact with no loss. The papers and brush are in fine condition. The pistol shows slight handling and cocking . Do not think this Colt was fired. The finish is bright with no loss or damage. There are no scratches or sign of holster wear. The wood grips are serial numbered to this pistol. This Colt would rate a strong 99% condition. This Colt has all the elements that makes this a highly collectable and rare pistol for the Colt collector to ever want in a handgun. I cannot say this enough, this is a stunning Colt!
