Description:
15-3 Roger & Spencer Army Model Percussion Civil War Revolver

15-3 Roger & Spencer Army Model Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal. 6-shot 7-1/2” Bbl. Serial # 3389. Only 5,000 made for Army. Standard Markings, Roger & Spencer Utica, NY has military inspector’s markings on various parts, B. H. The bore is in excellent condition with almost all the rifling very shiny; cylinder chambers show no evidence of corrosion. This gun fires very little, if at all and then apparently well cleaned. Maybe not issued. Action works well and locks up very tight when cocked. Gun has a lot of finish 95% most of which is bright blue. The pictures do not do the finish justice because they make the finish look thin. Finish a little thin on cylinder, under trigger guard, and butt stock, and on loading lever, otherwise very strong. Walnut grips fit tightly with a nice oil finish, and look great. Overall a nice excellent condition original antique Civil War Era Rem. Army suitable for collector or shooter. (15-3) $2,600.00
