Description:
The 1885 came in a lot of calibers. Some were strange and rare such as this one in caliber 38 EX. There were not many made in this caliber. 30" #3 oct bbl. Good cond gun with most blue and is turning. Bore is VG+. Good rifling right down to the chamber. No pitting. A little light roughness which could be leading and may clean up to near excellent. Receiver, which was originally case colored, has now aged into the normal silver color with some case color still evident. Front globe sight. Winchester semi-buckhorn bbl sight with later style sight elevator. Very nice Vernier tang sight. Gun has a working single set trigger. Wood is above normal cond with no bad dings or gouges. No cracks or losses. A good eye apealing gun that would fit into anyone's collection.
