Description:
Cal 30 WCF. #3 round bbl has been shortened to 22". Finish is mostly worn especially towards the muzzle. Pin prick pitting on some areas. More blue towards the frame. Bbl also has a notch that has been cut out and is covered by the sight. Not sure what for. Receiver is grey/brown patina. Light pitting in areas. May have been from storage in a case. Action is good, solid and works. Bore is good to VG. Butt stock is shy at both frame and toe. Several dings and scratches and a couple of holes drilled at the bottom. Forearm is better but has a hole drilled through the forearm tip. Must have had some sort of make-shift sling at one time. Still a good solid gun and would be great as a vintage hunting rifle. Was deffinately a hunting gun and sports some notches.
