Description:
Two museum (MINT) quality PINFIRE pistols , not marked but attributed to P. BERJAT a maker in France in the 1860's. Both are 5 & 1/2 " overall with 2 & 1/2 " barrels. Both have triggers that pop out when the hammer is cocked. Both have as new wood grips that appears to be black ebony with a light lacquer finish. Both have numerous engraved parts.and are 7mm calibre. These are rare pistols- hard to find, especially in this condition.
# 10 is a single barrel with a brown finish the balance of the metal is bright, probably nickel plated.
