Description:
I have for sale a lovely little DeHaan over and under in 28 gauge. This gun sports 28 inch barrels with vent rib and screw in choke tubes (2 included, cylinder and skeet). Sporting beautiful Turkish Walnut with great figure and satin finish it has dimensions of 1 1/2 X 2 1/8 X 14 3/4 over a very nice skeleton butt plate. It has a straight English grip and schnabel forend. One of the very neat things about this little gun is it has double triggers which I prefer in any double gun. This gives you instant barrel and choke selection which is the advantage of a double gun in the first place. There are many nice things that DeHaan does that you wouldn't expect from a gun in this price range. First notice the scalloped receiver and all the screws are timed properly. Barrels are nicely struck and well finished. Barrel lug is engine turned. Drop points behind the receiver is a nice touch. Gas escape ports from firing pins. And last and most importantly the fit and finish on this gun is super. Wood fits as it should with nice checkering and the action is smooth as guns costing three times as much. Gun has extractors so you won't be ejecting hulls all over the dove field this fall. Weight of this little beauty is 6 pounds 5 ounces and it is new and unfired without a mark of any kind. Price of this little gun is $1800 plus $35 shipping to your FFL. Sorry no papers or box with this gun.
