Description:
This 1898 retains 98% nickel plate on blade, 50% on guard and 25% on pommel. The ricasso is stamped 'WK & C" under the logo. The nine groove wood grips have oil holes on both sides and are fastened by two screws with spanner nuts. The grips are in very good condition with marks from use. The black leather scabbard is trimmed with nickel plated throat and chape retaining 85% nickel. The leather is in very good condition with signs of use. A great opportunity to acquire a private purchase bayonet with the upgraded nickel finish.
