Description: Serial #3Z239/9780, 7.62mm NATO (.308), 21 1/2? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Spanish Civil War era rifle (rechambered to 7.62mm post-war) with the Nationalist Sword and Fasces markings of Franco's Falange on the receiver. The metal retains 95-97% of an armory re-applied blue with the muzzle and high edges having some mild fading to gray and plum-brown. The matching numbered bolt is finished armory bright and has a few scattered spots of mild freckling here and there, but mainly on the handle. Additionally, the trigger guard and floorplate also have matching numbers and there is a two line import stamp on the underside of the barrel just ahead of the nosecap. The stock has an excellent military oil finish remaining with scattered small handling marks and blemishes throughout, but these are minor and the wood remains in fine-excellent condition. This is a neat Spanish Civil War rifle and is in fine condition overall.
