AUSTRAILIAN AUTO ARMS (AAA) Dubbed, “THE TASMANIAN DEVIL”, VERY RARE in USA, this is a very aggressive, para-military type Semi-Automatic Pistol with heavy barrel, chromed bore and rugged .090 (2.3 mm) thick steel plate construction. Short 10.5 inch, .690/.750 dia. barrel with bayonet lug/bipod attachment and 5 slot bird cage type flash-hiding compensator, no bottom slots. Very few of these were imported into the United States before the 1989 Assault Weapons Ban (Imported AWB) was passed, reportedly about 700. Semi-automatic weapons were banned in Australia in 1996 following an infamous shooting spree. Production ceased at Australian Automatic Arms shortly thereafter. Very low serial number, under 100, “SAP1000XX” Highly Collectible and formidable. The Semi-Auto Pistol (SAP) (dubbed the "Tasmanian Devil") was a Pistol-Gripped Stockless version of the SAC. It came with a sling to brace it during firing. Only 700 were imported into the US before being banned in 1994 In Excellent condition this (AAA) Semi-Auto Pistol “Tasmanian Devil” which comes with one High capacity Magazine ( AR15/AR16 Mags.) Original Box although rough as it is still in one piece. The Rarity of only 700 of these made it in the importation making them no longer available and Very Rare to find even in this condition.
