Serial number 98169; built in 1899, no FFL required in most states.
Original wood finish, Dog's head butt plate with small repair to the plate's toe.

#2 frame, fading case colors, extractors.
Both barrels are tight to face.
Original Damascus barrels are 30” with bright bores, never polished, no pits. Both barrels choked extra full (.038/.040). Fading finish. Rings true.
Vulcan steel barrels are 30”, 95% of barrel re-blue (by Lefever and Sons in the early 1980's). Fitted to the gun. Choked modified/extra full (.020/.042). Bright bores, no pits. Serial number 125, 906. Rings true.
This gun shows some wear to the finish after 115 years of service but it has been well cared for. I have hunted everything from doves to deer with it since 1980.
