An extremely unique side plated boxlock ejector 28 gauge shotgun by master gunmaker Jack Rowe. Jack built this gun as “The Ultimate Quail Gun” for Quail Unlimited. BN proof dated 1985, this exquisite little gun is beautifully engraved by Guiseppi Forte. It even comes with two sets of sideplates: One set scroll engraved and the second set has gold inlays with flying quail on left, flying grouse on right and a woodcock on the trigger guard. 26” barrels are choked .010 and .025 (M/F) with a concave/smooth solid rib. Very tasteful straight grip stock with nicely figured French Walnut; 15” LOP to a checkered butt with engraved heel and toe caps, 1 ½” DAC, 2 5/8” DAH. Double triggers, splinter FE, 5 lbs. 11 oz. Huey oak & leather French fitted luggage case with accessories. Even the oiler and the case plate are engraved! Beautiful, one-of-a-kind shotgun.
