1998 COLT DS-II, SS, #s Matching box, Complete!!! Available for your consideration here is a "near last year" for the stainless steel model colt detective special style firearm here referred to as the DS-II. 1995 was the last year for the standard blue model colt detective special before colt went to stainless steel models only in '96. By 2000, the detective special was discontinued completely. This '97-'98 model is complete and in near perfect condition... the blue box is included with manual and all paperwork, but this model carries its identity with a label affixed to side of the blue box as pictured, there is NO picture sleeve from factory on these DS-II. I have tried under numerous lighting conditions to get the best possible pictures. There is 2 tiny black marks on left side of frame in front of cylinder about center as pictured in pic#. Otherwise, finish is flawless, unmarked, unworn, un.. condition. Stowage has been careful, not used much, just a little practice for good personal defense readiness..
