Colt 3rd Model Belt Paterson. Serial number 171. Rare gun with silver bands. The 5½” long barrel has the correct 11 groove rifling. The cylinder scene is very strong and the gun is all matching. The silver bands are a rare feature on Paterson pistols. The metals has a dark gray patina with trace amounts of finish in protected areas. Grips are excellent. Gun works perfectly. Very fine Belt Model Paterson!
