Description:

Springfield 1898 .30-40 Krag caliber rifle. U.S. Military rifle produced in 1901. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Barrel has about 80% blue with a gray patina. Receiver has a gray patina. Wood is good with dents and dings, no cracks. There is an “M” etched into the stock. The cartouche is sharp and is 1901 dated. Very good condition overall.
