An Adams 12b "Spiral Spring" sidelock action double using Woodwards patent 651 of 1876. This patent covered a side lock with "strikers" instead of hammers.This gun is in very sound condition tight and on face. The barrels which have a few minor dents. Also the barrels have probably been honed and have shiny bores but the left barrel has a wall thickness of .021, 7in. from the muzzle. The min thickness on the right barrel is .031 at the same distance from the muzzle. My original intention was to have a set of full length Briley 28ga tubes fitted. Overall the gun is in very nice condition with lovely lumber. Barrels are 28" with no chokes. It weighs 5lbs 14oz. LOP is 14 5/8 to a horn butt. DAC=1 5/8; DAH = 2 1/8. I have plenty of Pix for prospective buyers. Gun is an antique and can be shipped directly to buyer.
