Description:
S#880023, .38-55, 26 inch octagon barrel, very good bore. This 1920 built rifle features a Winchester 22A black powder sporting rear sight and octagon barrel. receiver shows a brown patina, barrel and mag tube retain 30% blue with fading and staining. Wood shows marks and dings from use with added oil and a crack behind tang(may be repaired as it does not flex) and by receiver on left side. Forend shows nine triangular impact marks on right side by receiver. Front sight is a period modified replacement. Barrel is importer marked on left by forend tip. This is a very good example with nice bore that will look good in the rack or out hunting. FFL or C&R
