Description:
SN 26669 is a standard M. 1895 rifle with 28" round barrel in .30 U.S. caliber (.30-40 Krag) which was the army caliber at the time. This rifle was made in 1900. About 70% blue remains with most loss from the receiver top and top tang with the remainder thinning. A bright bore with very light frosting. All wood is tight and sound with one deep bruise in the left, lower stock. This one has the standard crescent rifle buttstock and Schnabel forend tip. A very good 1895 with a very shootable bore. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. FFL or C&R
