Antique,between World Wars I-II period produced 4 X magnification SIRIUS G sniper rifle scope with claw mounts.Made from steel. Condition excellent.Clear,sharp view.Objective lens:clear,no scratches. Mechanically(elevation adjustment, focusing)work good. Lateral adjustment work by moving screws on left/right site of rear claw mount. Excellent scope for old collectible sporting, drilling and side by side rifles and shotguns. During WWI, many German sporting rifle scopes were converted for use with the German military`s Scharfscutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. SIRIUS G scopes, like many others were employed in this bloody business. Reticle German #1 Magnification 4 X Length 259.00 mm Main tube diameter 22.00 mm Eye piece part of tube diameter 30.80 mm Objective part of tube 29.90 mm Weight 344 g with mounts Used, but in excellent condition for 100 years old scope.
