Here's another beautiful and somewhat scarce Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .243 caliber with the coveted aluminum butt plate! Serial# 377xxx puts it at 1956 mfg. Showing 98% Blue with the only notable marks being some typical scuffs on heel of butt plate. The very nicely grained wood is in likewise excellent shape, rated at about 96-97% with some scattered light handling marks and a bit of stabilized flaking just along butt plate union. There are no cracks. All finishes are original. There is absolutely no bedding or routing of barrel channel. 22" light contour barrel has excellent bore. Factory sights and swivels. This is an outstanding rifle at a good price!
