Description:
NSN (Assembly #35), .30 CF, 3/8" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome little Liege proofed revolver that has matching assembly numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel assembly with the metal retaining 75-80% of the original blue finish that has flaked to the underlying smooth plum-brown and gray base metal in spots and also silvered to mottled white/gray at the muzzle. The hammer retains most of the original straw color with traces remaining on the predominantly bright gray trigger and ejector rod. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent shape with a small amount of wear and flattening of the points on both sides but no chips, cracks, or breaks. The left panel is stamped crisply on the butt with a large "G". The lock-up is tight and the revolver rates excellent condition overall. Antique
