Description:
Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Competition Rifle .45-70 Gov't. The rifle as pictured has $400 add-on front and rear Pedersoli sights. The front is a Spirit Level Sight with micrometer adjustments for windage, and includes 11 extra inserts of various kinds and 6 extra glass level tubes in red, blue and yellow. The rear tang mounted sight is a Creedmoor "Soule Type" Middle Range Sight, it is adjustable for windage and has 3" adjustable elevation. Comes with a standard peep (not shown in photos) and an add-on adjustable peep (shown in photos), it adjust from super fine to extra large. Also included and not shown in the photos is a walnut wooden case to store the sights and accessories. The rifle also comes with a Pedersoli manual.

Metal Condition: Excellent condition, a few very tiny marks. The butt-plate has scratches where it made contact with the ground.
Wood Condition: There are large, wide scratches on the left side of butt-stock, and a small number of smaller scratches on the butt-stock and the forend.
Bore Condition: Excellent, bright and shiny.
Barrels: 34" Heavy Octagon Barrel.
Triggers: Double Set.
Stock: Pistol grip, checkered walnut.
Fore End: Checkered walnut with bright nickel forend piece.
Butt Pad: Blued metal butt-plate.
Weight: 13 1/2 Lbs.
Sights: Front Tunnel Sight & Rear Creedmoor. There is also an rear barrel sight with elevator (shown in photos) and a standard front blade sight (not shown in photos).
