Description:
Marlin Ballard Single Shot Rifle .25-20 WCF. Mounted to the barrel is a Wollensak brass tube 4 power riflescope with a double micrometer external windage and elevation adjusting mounts with dovetail blocks for barrel mounts. The scope is a 3/4" diameter tube, 15 1/4" in length with fixed medium cross-hairs. Manufactured, Rochester, NY. Includes a rear tang mounted vernier mid-range sight with 2" elevation and a front globe sight with screws for both (neither are attached to rifle & not shown in photos).

Metal Condition: Time honored brown patina.
Wood Condition: Butt-stock solid, not loose, has scratches and dings and a couple of hairline cracks where it joins to receiver. The right side of forend tip is chipped with a crack.
Bore Condition: The barrel insert is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves.
Barrels: 23 3/8" Octagon barrel. It is equipped a full-length .25-20 WCF barrel insert and is stamped.
Triggers: Single.
Stock: Walnut.
Stock Dimensions:
13 3/8" Lenght of pull.
Fore End: Walnut.
Butt Pad: Crescent metal butt-plate.
Weight: 9 Lbs. with scope.
