Description:
This US Property marked trainer (marked on both the barrel and receiver) was built in December 1941 with S/N104XX, and barrel mark of XK. Gun has only factory supplied holes for scope mounting on the barrel, and no extra holes. Has Redfield rear peep sight with no aperture and early post front sight. Metal condition rates 80% or better with a couple of small marks. Bolt works smooth and shows a lot of case color, bore is near mint with strong rifling. Stock shows no military markings, looks original, but may have an old refinish where is was lightly sanded. Wood to metal fit is excellent.
