Description:
This gun with S/N 857XX was built in 1956 and has a GROOVED RECEIVER from the factory. Gun has no extra holes or any alterations other than what is was built with. Has the correct Redfield rear Peep with aperture, and a replaceable insert front sight. This whole gun rates 95+% condition, metal is flawless, bore is mint, script and proof marks are crisp and wood shows very light handling marks with factory finish. Gun comes with vintage leather sling that is in great shape as well as the metal butt plate is excellent. This Model 75 is as nice as you could hope to find, and the finest one I have ever seen, short of NIB. Very high condition rifle, and only one of a few I have seen with a grooved receiver.
