Description:
3-digit serial number manufactured in the first year of production. Cal 35 Win SL. This gun is old and looks it. A grey/blue receiver. Could possibly have had cold blue added decades ago. Bbl is a blue/grey color with nice markings. Bore is in the good range with good rifling. No pitting but roughness throughout. Butt stock has had some work done to it. On the right side is a skillfully done diamond marking with the letters "P E G". Evidently the previous owner had time for some carving. There is also an old leather wrap around the wrist nicely done. Some how it inherited a Remington butt plate. Forearm crack has been fixed. Actually a nice job was done. There is a couple of small holes on the bottom of the forearm. Reason?? Equipped with a mag that has more blue and is evidently a replacement. No cal marking on it.
