Remington Beals. 28 inch part octagon part round 38 long rim fire. Iron frame.[most were brass] Solid old rifle with some original color. Barrel retains 60-65% original blue. Stock shows 40% original varnish and is solid. Fair bore. A few of the screws are replaced. Two dovetails toward rear of barrel, one is plugged, the other has a simple fixed sight. Functions. Serial number 719. Fewer than 800 of these were made.
