Description:
This Bayonet is marked "PD/LuneschLoss/Solingen" on ricasso with "W/17" and "Crown over C" inspector's mark. The blade shows several small areas of staining with pitting. The guard is also marked with "crown over C' inspector's mark and is turning gunmetal grey as is the pommel and flash guard. Pommel show 2 more inspector's marks. The wood grips are in excellent condition with marks from use. The scabbard retains 75% blue with stains and one minor dent near frog stud. A very good example of this popular bayonet.
