Description:
Serial #A679240, 9mm Para, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This alloy frame pistol has been lightly used, but well cared for, and retains 99% plus original nickel with only some faint scratches and minor handling marks visible on either side of the frame and slide (there are some further very minor peen marks on the left side of the frame below the slide lever that do not go through the nickel plating as well). The rear sight and controls retain 97-98% of their original blue finish with some very mid silvering present on the raised edges and projections, most noticeably on the slide latch thumb-piece. The grips are likewise in excellent shape with sharp checkering points and only a minor few handling marks and surface blemishes marring the original varnish. The pistol comes with one original blued magazine and is an excellent example of a fine S&W built from 1971-82. FFL
