Description:
Serial #B17199, .38/200 (.38 S&W), 5? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Birmingham proofed revolver that has a retained 92-95% of the original blue finish and has the push-button frame safety. The rear of the frame knuckle is police marked: ?SPF/2685? (Singapore Police Force); and there is a small import stamp on the underside of the barrel. The checkered black ?Webley? composite grips are in good shape with even (but not excessive) usage wear and flattening of the points on both panels, and there are short cracks at the toe of the front gripstrap on both sides. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a very good example of a police-used Webley and would make a nice addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
