Description:
This is one of three that came out of New Mexico that were used against the Mescelero Apache. It was the machine gun of the day - a better gun that any Winchester as it used standard U.S. 45.-70 ammunition - probably 13-14 rounds. Serial number 460. Good operation - good bore. The next gun that would have replaced this would have been Marlin 1881. All scouts and officers had these with them. Shipping is $55.00 dollars.
